Liberal comedian Bill Maher stunned MAGA fans on Monday when he praised President Donald Trump during a conversation with star actor William H. Macy.

Maher took to his "Club Random" podcast to praise the president during a conversation that began with Macy admitting he's a big Taylor Swift fan.

After Maher trashed Swift's hit pop song "Shake It Off" as a "potato chip jingle," the comedian acknowledged, "You cannot ever deny success."

"You just have to give your respect, even if it's not your thing. Have the humility to give it up for enormous success on any level," said Maher.

He pointed to Trump as an example.

"Trump! Not my choice! Didn't vote for him," said Maher.

"But a lot of people did," replied Macy.

Maher, briefly speechless, said, "I can't deny the success."

"I can't either," said Macy. "And he's the president."

"And he's the president," Maher repeated. "But we don't have to get into that. We're drunk."

Trump’s second term has notably faced fierce criticism by experts over his administration’s mass deportations, alleged ignoring of court orders, vast expansion of executive power and threats to democratic norms, and more.

The two then pivoted to Maher's "prized possession," a Trump-signed sheet of all the insults he's received from the president over the years.

"He, off the top of his head, could come up with 56 different —" said Maher, reciting off the names.

"OK, now you're just gloating," said Macy.

MAGA fans were astonished at Maher's admission.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) shared the clip on X with the eyes emoji.

Conservative Frank Ferriolo wrote on X, "Maher better be careful! He might paint himself into a pickle if he counts up all of Trump’s successes!"

David J Harris Jr, host of "The Pulse" podcast on Newsmax, wrote on X, "AMAZING! Bill Maher proudly shows off his signed list of Trump insults to William H. Macy."
