WEST VIRGINIA (WVNS) - Social media is one of the ways technology has helped bring people together, but the impacts have not always been positive.

Student dynamics in and outside the classroom have seen a shift in the new technological age. Experts said social media applications like Facebook and TikTok can keep students locked in social situations around the clock. This has put victims of bullying at risk even after the final bell of the school day rings.

"The hard part about social media is that it follows kids everywhere.
