One minute, you’re on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ claiming a certain head coach is unlikely to get fired anytime soon – then the next minute, his firing is announced.
That wasn’t quite the case with Adam Schefter on Monday afternoon, but it was close enough. The ESPN football insider was a guest on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ today and suggested that no head coach would be fired in the coming days, singling Brian Callahan out.
“I don’t think, and for all I know, I’m gonna hang up here and someone’s getting fired, but I don’t see a head coach losing his job,” he said. “I don’t see Brian Callahan, obviously, has come under intense criticism; I don’t see that happening soon.”
Less than an hour later, the Tennessee Titans parted ways with Callahan…
