ATLANTA — Normally, the inactive list released 90 minutes before an NFL game starts is the last injury update until after the game begins.
That was not the case on Monday night, ahead of a Week 6 tilt against the Falcons in Atlanta, when the Buffalo Bills announced that defensive tackle DaQuan Jones would not play following a calf injury that happened during pregame warmups.
An already banged-up Bills defense was tested early and often at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during a 24-14 loss to the Falcons.
In fact, on the first drive, the Falcons drove 69 yards in only five plays, capped by a 21-yard touchdown run by Tyler Allgeier.
The Bills quickly countered with a scoring drive of their own, going 74 yards in six plays in a shade over four minutes. Quarterback Josh Allen found tight end Daws
