EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Marathon Petroleum awarded $75,000 in matching funds on Monday, Oct. 13 spread across 10 El Paso area nonprofit organizations to support their work on the environment and hunger relief.
It was part of the 10th annual El Paso Giving Day.
The organizations were: Frontera Land Alliance - $15,000; 915 TreeKeepers - $10,000; Paso del Norte Trail - $10,000; EPISD Education Foundation - $10,000; Ysleta ISD/Foundation - $10,000; Desert Spoon Food Hub - $5,000; Kelly Center for Hunger Relief - $5,000; Green Hope Project - $5,000; Celebration of our Mountains - $2,500; and Junior Achievement - $2,500.
