Reid Perry has announced his exit from The Band Perry , leaving his sister Kimberly as the only remaining original member of the band.

The band formed in 2005 and signed to Republic Nashville back in 2009. They shot to fame with their Grammy-nominated song “If I Die Young” in 2010 and later won a Grammy in 2015 for their song “Gentle on My Mind.”

The Band Perry went on a hiatus in 2023 , but reunited in 2025 with Neil Perry leaving the band and being replaced by Kimberly ‘s husband Johnny Castello .

Now, Reid is exiting as well.

Reid announced on Instagram that he’s stepping away from performing to be an artist manager.
