FARGO — A local university has begun round two of taking the temperature of its employees in the workplace.
North Dakota State University hired Gallup, a research and global analytics company, to survey all of its faculty and staff about employee engagement and develop action plans for improvement.
The first round took place in fall 2024 with the results being released last December. This latest round, distributed via email, began Monday, Oct. 13, and will run through Friday, Oct. 31.
Carrie Anne Platt, vice provost for faculty affairs, is helping to lead the Employee Engagement Initiative, with surveys being sent to more than 2,400 people on campus.
