MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – Police arrested two men from Minot Air Force Base following an incident Saturday morning that prompted a momentary lockdown of a southeast Minot truck stop.
According to a report from Minot Police, officers were dispatched to Schatz Crossroads around 4:15 a.m. for a man in the parking lot with a gun, making threats and trying to start a fight with customers inside the restaurant.
Officers detained three people inside a sedan. Investigators say they learned one of the men, 26-year-old Elijah Haddon, was seen loading and brandishing a handgun, prompting an employee to lock down the business.
Police say the gun in question was found in the vehicle.
Officers arrested Haddon for C-felony terrorizing. The 27-year-old driver was arrested for two alcohol-related misdemeano
