ORANGE CITY, IA (KTIV) - Orange City, Iowa council members have appointed a new city administrator.
Matt Van Schouwen is the newly appointed city administrator, following the retirement of Earl Woudstra.
Van Schouwen who is currently the Director of Public Works in Orange City, was appointed Monday during a special City Council meeting.
He says the city has a lot of great things in the works and he’s looking forward to continuing that progress.
“Growing our residential business development. As well as, looking for new ways to provide great services for our citizens and to continue on the work we’re doing,” said Van Schouwen.
He says Orange City has a great history of serving the community and he looks forward to the future.
