Shoppers on St. Paul's Grand Avenue now have to pay to park at one of the area's busiest parking lots.
A paid parking system has been recently implemented at the large parking lot at the northwest corner of Grand and Victoria, with the two, separately-owned portions of the lot both transitioning from free to paid parking.
According to the Grand Avenue Business Association (GABA), the eastern portion of the lot is owned by St. Paul's United Church of Christ and paid parking is now being managed by Parking Management Company (PMC).
The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio owns the lots to the north and east of the former Salut restaurant.
Those parking spaces are being managed by Interstate Parking Company. Both payment systems are now in effect with signs directing parking lot users
