ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Three people are injured after a car went through a business in Escambia County.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, a 39-year-old Elberta man was traveling east in the outside lane of Michigan Avenue at around 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13.

The driver was allegedly on his cellphone and collided with a curb, causing the right front tire to blow. Due to this, the driver was unable to stop the car.

He then drove through the parking lot of a dentist's office then across Montgomery Avenue. Still unable to stop, he "collided with and traveled through" Blossman Gas, finally coming to a stop after colliding with a pallet of concrete blocks.
