PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A law firm has filed a suit against Jay Hospital and Baptist Healthcare.

According to a release from the representing firm, Zarzaur Law, represents three individuals "who were allegedly photographed without consent by hospital employees while under medical care."

Jay Hospital employees allegedly entered the rooms of medicated or unconscious patients, took nonconsensual pictures, and posted them to the social media site, Snapchat, in February 2025. A notable feature of the site allows images to "disappear" 24 hours after being posted.

The affected patients were purportedly offered money in exchange for signing legal documents by hospital administration, though they were never shown the "horrible" images.
