If you noticed a smell of burned hot dogs Monday night in Chelsea, Massachusetts, a fire at a Kayem Meats processing plant was the likely source.
Employees reported a fire that broke out above a commercial oven at the Arlington Street facility, according to Chelsea Fire Chief John Quatieri.

"When we responded, they had visible fire above the ovens, going up to the roof," he told NBC10 Boston.
Employees were already evacuating when fire crews arrived. No injuries were reported.
"We're happy all the employees followed the procedures and were able to get out safely," Quatieri said.
The fire was under control within about half an hour, according to Quatieri.
There appeared to be minimal smoke damage, the chief said
