EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- For the third straight year, Socorro ISD middle schools were the top-performing schools in Algebra 1 across the El Paso regoin.
And as such, they were recognized by nonprofit organization CREEED.
CREEED's Algebra in Middle (AIM High) program honors and rewards faculty and staff at the top-performing middle schools, recognizing that it isn't just teachers who contribute to student success, but the entire staff.
This year, CREEED awarded $54,850 in gift cards at the following schools in SISD: • Col. John O. Ensor Middle School - $16,750 (86% passing rate) • Montwood Middle School - $9,200 (84% passing rate) • Jane A. Hambric Middle School - $8,700 (83% passing rate) • SPC. Rafael Hernando III Middle School - $8,550 (83% passing rate) • SSG. Manuel R. Pue
