A Center Line child was seriously injured after her family said a driver crashed into her home early Monday.

Just before 3 a.m. Monday, an SUV struck a house on MacArthur Boulevard, near O'Hare Street, according to a WJBK (Fox2) report . The impact threw a sleeping 9-year-old girl out of a window and onto the yard.

Family members have organized a fundraiser on the GoFundMe online platform to help pay for the girl's medical needs. They said the child, named Laila, "sustained 3 spinal injuries, a fractured nose as well as a laceration to her liver."
