The neighboring foes delivered convincing wins in the Division 2 district semifinals Monday, setting up a much-anticipated showdown in the title game at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the John Glenn stadium.

The winner advances to regional play at Fenton – and avenges a loss that has been stuck in their craw.

Glenn edged Western 2-1 in last year’s district final while Western outdueled Glenn 3-2 in this year’s Bay County Championship final, leaving both with an extra ounce of motivation for Thursday’s clash.
