HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – A juvenile was struck while riding his bike to school on the morning of Monday, Oct. 13.

While on his way to school, the juvenile collided with a moving vehicle at the intersection of Taylorsville and Harshmanville roads. He was knocked off his bike while he was riding it through the crosswalk.

The driver of the vehicle, who had come to a stop before the impact, fled the scene after hitting the cyclist.

However, so did the juvenile, who then continued on his way to school.

The juvenile reported minor pain in his right wrist from falling off the bike. He was later evaluated and released by medics with his father present.

There are currently no leads on the driver’s identity. He was described as an older male with gray hair who drove a silver Toyota.
