Economic misconduct is discouraging voters

In his first eight months in office, Donald Trump executed numerous policy changes with the expectation and assurance of dramatic effects on our economy.

He promised to end inflation, bring back manufacturing, encourage job growth and bring us a golden age.

So far, things don’t look promising. Here in Fort Wayne, the housing market has cooled, groceries cost more and restaurants seem quieter.

Nationally, we see signs of a stalling economy. An early indicator of a weakening economy, declining fast food breakfast business, is occurring. Manufacturing has contracted for six months in a row. Employment has stalled with few new jobs added in the past several months.
