KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Monday marked a big sigh of relief for some people in East Tennessee as hostages were released back home during the Israel-Hamas ceasefire.

Hamas released 20 Israeli hostages, and Israel released nearly 2,000 Palestinian hostages.

The Knoxville Jewish Alliance and pro-Palestinian supporters in East Tennessee feel this is a step in the right direction.
