WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — More than 1,800 parents, staff and high school students responded to a safety survey after a loaded gun was found at Maize High School on Sept. 11, when three students were arrested.

The survey, launched last month, asked the community how safe they feel and what changes they would like to see in schools.
