ST. PAUL, Minn. — Shut out for two periods, the Kings found their form with a three-goal third and salvaged a point with a shootout loss to the Minnesota Wild on Monday night.

Marco Rossi scored in the fourth round of the shootout to help Minnesota hon on for a 4-3 win.

Power-play goals by Jared Spurgeon, Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy gave Minnesota a 3-0 lead late in the first period.

The score remained 3-0 until the third period when Kevin Fiala, Quinton Byfield scored early and Adrain Kempe late to send the game to overtime.

Fiala banked a rebound off the back of Jesper Wallstedt early in the third and Byfield added a power-play goal less than three minutes later to pull the Kings within 3-2 with 13:38 left. Kempe fed a perfect pass to the slot for Byfield, who ripped a one-timer p
