BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Inside the pulpit of a Baton Rouge church, Pastor Erroll Domingue feels right at home.

It’s where he builds bonds and trust within his community, which is the same mission shared by the people gathered in prayer inside his sanctuary.

“We really all need each other,” Domingue said.

Domingue believes the work of faith leaders and law enforcement isn’t all that different.

He said both are dedicated to service and community safety, and that pastors often serve as a crucial bridge between residents and law enforcement, helping address concerns and promote understanding.
