The Department for Work and Pensions is urging Universal Credit recipients to keep their income and savings records up to date to ensure they’re receiving the right amount of benefits.
Warning that even once-off payments could potentially make them ineligible for their usual payment.
Taking to X with a reminder, the Department said: “If you are on Universal Credit and receive a savings boost, remember to update your Universal Credit account so you’re not overpaid.
