At the premiere of his new film Good Fortune tonight, Keanu Reeves remembered his Something’s Gotta Give co-star Diane Keaton , who died last week , as “a total pro.”

Reaves told E! News on the red carpet, “She was very nice to me. Generous artist and a very special, unique person.”

He continued, “It was cool to be able to see her and Jack Nicholson together. Just with the history they shared and the way the fondness and love they had for each other. It was really cool.”

Reeves was 36 and Keaton 57 when the film came out in 2003. While she and Reeves had real chemistry onscreen, her character eventually ends up with Jack Nicholson’s more age-appropriate Harry.
