APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (AZFamily) — Crews are currently responding to a water rescue in Apache Junction.
Around 7:30 p.m., Superstition Fire and Medical crews responded to the area of 4th Avenue and Tomahawk Road for reports of people needing help.
Superstition Fire and Medical confirmed that two patients were rescued from their car, which was trapped in the fast-moving floodwaters. Both people were uninjured and were not taken to the hospital.
The scene was handed over to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
