Question: Will the Renters (Reform) Act make buy-to-let mortgages harder to get and will rates increase? The changes mean tenants will be able to leave a property with two months notice which I worry may make things less secure for landlords, such as myself.

Answer: With the Renters’ Rights Bill in its final stages, the main concern is whether criteria will tighten, or rates will rise for buy-to-let.
