President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron shared another long, aggressive handshake while meeting at the signing of the Gaza peace agreement in Egypt.
The two came together ahead of the “family photograph” of world leaders who had gathered in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday to witness the breakthrough ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
Trump was pictured amiably shaking hands with presidents, prime ministers and other leaders in turn, before the room was apparently infused with testosterone when France’s head of state arrived. (Watch a video at the top of the story.)
During the 27-second clasp, they started with a traditional handshake and near-embrace before both leaders appeared to try to yank the other as they engaged in an overhand grip.
