CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – Evacuation levels for the Labor Mountain Fire have been lowered, providing some relief for residents.

Previous level three evacuations have been downgraded to level two. Level one evacuations on Number One and Number Two Canyons have been lifted.

However, level two "get set" evacuations remain for Mission Creek Road above Sand Creek and the Valley High area.

In neighboring Kittitas County, the sheriff announced that all evacuations have been lifted.

The Labor Mountain Fire is currently 25% contained and has burned 42,631 acres.

Fire crews are still assessing the impact of recent snowfall, but it is believed to have helped.
