Australian comedian Dave Hughes has found himself back in hospital just six weeks after suffering five broken ribs and a punctured lung in the AFL Legends match.
The 54-year-old was representing Victoria in the high-profile charity game when he was caught in a series of heavy bumps from ex-AFL players Andrew Embley, Daniel Gorringe and Mitch Robinson.
What began as a fun exhibition match quickly turned painful, with Mr Hughes leaving the field nursing serious injuries.
He was hospitalised following the game, later confirming the extent of the damage.
Now, the Hughesy, Ed and Erin co-host has told fans that complications with his lung have sent him back to hospital for further treatment.
Taking to social media on Monday, Mr Hughes shared a characteristically cheeky update from his hosp
