Canadian Jewish, Palestinian communities hopeful, but uncertain about peace

Members of the Jewish community in Canada gathered to commemorate victims of Oct. 7 while celebrating the return of living Israeli hostages. Palestinians in Canada are grateful that bombings have stopped but wish peace had come sooner without the bloodshed and suffering of the past two years.
