In the latest season of the very popular web series 'Panchayat', a viral dialogue by one of the key characters says - " Kijiye meeting meeting, kheliye meeting meeting, karte rahiye meeting meeting, alhuaa meeting ". It is emblematic of the present situation in poll-bound Bihar, where despite several rounds of meetings and to and fro Delhi-Patna flights, both the NDA and the Grand Alliance are yet to sort out the seat-sharing mess .

With both camps featuring several smaller parties with big ambitions, the seat-sharing impasse has prevented the NDA and the Congress-RJD alliance from starting full-fledged campaigning for the polls. Less than a month remains for the elections to kick off, scheduled to be held on November 6 and November 11. Results will be out on November 14.
