BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- SUNY Corning Community College is giving the public a closer look at the region’s growing manufacturing industry.

The college will host a Manufacturing Showcase on Friday, October 17, from 3 to 6 p.m. at its Airport Corporate Park campus in Big Flats. The event will feature live demonstrations in robotics and CNC machining, along with opportunities to meet industry professionals and explore local career pathways.

Representatives from companies including Eaton Corporation, Hardinge, SEPAC, and Beecher Emission Solutions Technologies are expected to attend, along with workforce development groups such as CSS Workforce NY.

The showcase is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP through the college’s website .
