Tata Electronics has acquired the India operations of Chinese industrial automation company Justech Precision for close to $100 million, two people aware of the matter told CNBC. The move marks the Tata Group subsidiary’s latest push to expand its footprint in Apple ’s global supply chain.

The transaction, concluded in August, saw HSBC Bank and HDFC Bank advising on the deal, according to people familiar with the development.

Long-Time Apple Supplier
