PISCATAWAY – At a time when Rutgers football is struggling to get a win, it’s going to be facing one of the top teams in the country.

The Scarlet Knights will host the No. 8 Oregon Ducks Saturday, Oct. 18 hoping to pull off an upset and snap its three-game losing streak.

It’s going to be a major task for Rutgers on Homecoming Weekend.

The Ducks are 5-1, their only loss coming Saturday, Oct. 11 to the surging Indiana Hoosiers . Their previous game, the Ducks beat Penn State, which was the beginning of the end of James Franklin’s stint as the head coach of the Nittany Lions .

Oregon boasts one of the best offenses in the country, ranking ninth in the country with 42.2 points per game.

Quarterback Dante Moore is completing 72.02 percent of his passes. He’s thrown for 1,396 yard
