Evansville declines to release proposal to reopen Mesker Amphitheatre

EVANSVILLE – The City of Evansville is declining to release the only proposal it received for the potential overhaul and reopening of Mesker Amphitheatre.

Dirck Stahl, the attorney for the Evansville Parks Board, told the Courier & Press via email Friday that the document – submitted by Tim Drake, the owner of The Mill Event Center and Amphitheater in Terre Haute, after officials opened a request for proposals this summer – “is not subject to public disclosure unless and until it is accepted.”
