History came alive, at least for a few hours, Sunday afternoon at Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum in Charleston.
About a dozen presenters — many dressed in period costumes — manned stations, mostly around the Old Circle area of the cemetery. They offered up stories of some of the famous people who are interred at the cemetery, as well as other lessons about historic homes and businesses in Charleston.
The event, called Founders, Flora and Feathers, was organized by the Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum as part of last week's FestivFALL art events in Charleston.
