OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Tuesday, Oshkosh’s city council will get a firsthand look at a proposed city budget for next year.
The recommendation includes a lower tax rate for all who live in the city.
The city manager and department heads are recommending a flat tax levy of $7.73. That would be almost 50 cents less than the current rate of $8.14.
The city will begin workshopping the proposed budget at Tuesday night’s common council meeting. That starts at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
