Jesper Karlsson has revealed he made the move to Aberdeen because he trusts Jimmy Thelin to get his career back on track after a tough spell.

The winger has quickly become a fan favourite at Pittodrie after his shock arrival on deadline night in a loan deal from Serie A side Bologna.

And the 27-year-old is off the mark with three goals in his last two outings , including a brace in the 4-0 dismantling of Dundee before the international break.
