(Jamestown, ND) — A Jamestown man faces several criminal charges after an alleged home invasion and axe-wielding incident. Authorities say Shannon Syverson entered a rural Jamestown home on October 11th and claimed ties to Hells Angels while asking for girls. This came after the man reportedly approached the same property the day before and stood in the road with an axe so he could “protect the property.” Deputies also found that Syverson stole a Bobcat utility vehicle, drove it to James River Boat Club, and damaged a picnic table on October 10th. He was eventually arrested after the incidents and booked at the Stutsman County Correctional Center on charges of felony criminal trespass and three counts of criminal mischief, among other charges.
