SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - The very warm and dry weather will continue through the end of the week, and a pattern change will bring thunderstorms and likely severe weather Saturday into Saturday night.
There are no weather worries today as we'll enjoy sunrise temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s under clear skies. A dry northeast breeze is keeping humidity low, and the sunny skies will warm our highs into the upper 80s and low 90s. This is about 10 degrees above-average for the date.
The cool mornings and warm afternoons will continue thorugh the end of the week, with the only noticeable change being an increase in clouds and humidity by Friday as Gulf moisture is drawn into the region ahead of a weekend storm system.
