On Wednesday, a new true-crime series on Hulu will premiere dramatizing the fall of Alex Murdaugh, the disbarred South Carolina attorney convicted of killing his wife and son.

The series, inspired by the murders of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh, premieres Oct. 15 and stars Patricia Arquette as Maggie Murdaugh and Jason Clarke as Alex Murdaugh.

The release of "Murdaugh: Death in the Family" comes as the real-life legal battle surrounding the Murdaugh case continues.
