For the sixth year, students in are teaming up with Tulsa-based HVAC manufacturer and the to refurbish bicycles for families in need.
Each fall, the district holds its , collecting gently used bikes and new helmets that students repair and return to their peers just before winter break.
“Every year, we put together a drive for gently used bikes,” said Gianna Giordano , Union’s College and Career Advisor. “Our kids in manufacturing and automotive can repair those, and then we redistribute them back into our school district.”
