A teacher has been barred from the profession after she allegedly engaged in an inappropriate and sexual conversation about orgasms and sex toys with pupils . Kathryn Matthews was suspended from The Westleigh School in Wigan for two months after the alleged incident came to light, a regulatory panel heard.

It was alleged that the English teacher was guilty of unacceptable professional conduct following a conversation of an inappropriate or sexual nature with students in a class in November 2023.
