A TikTok influencer who made death threats against Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage was sentenced to five years in jail by a London judge.

Fayez Khan, an Afghan national, was charged with threatening to kill Farage in videos he posted in October last year. Farage said he was alarmed and appalled by Khan’s “sheer aggression” and the threats to kill him when he testified during the short trial.

The 26-year-old man denied the charges during the trial, maintaining he did not intend to hurt anyone - a jury found him guilty on Friday. He previously admitted to the charge of entering the UK without valid documents.
