An Afghan migrant who came to the UK on a small boat has been jailed after he threatened to kill Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in a TikTok video described by both the High Court and Mr Farage as "pretty chilling".

Fayaz Khan, who told British authorities he was 26, made the threat last October in a TikTok video, which saw him mimicking the "pop, pop, pop" noise of a gunshot as he pointed to an AK-47 tattoo on his face.

He was found guilty of making threats to kill following a trial last week and was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday to five years in prison, after previously pleading guilty to attempting to enter the UK illegally.
