LAKE CITY – The Florence County Sheriff 's Office says it's trying to find a driver who might have information regarding the disappearance of a family pet.

A dog wandered off from a McCutcheon Road home near Lake City at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5.

Investigators believe the owner or operator of the vehicle may have knowledge important to the investigation. The vehicle appears to be a late model, blue four-door Nissan.

The dog, which answers to the name of "Tibby," is a small, white mixed-breed female.
