Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator and former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy is reportedly on the radar of a rival AFC team.
After four up-and-down seasons with the Bears, Matt Nagy was fired in 2022. Andy Reid brought Nagy back as a senior assistant and quarterbacks coach, and he was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2023 after Eric Bieniemy left to take the Washington Commanders’ OC position.
Like Dan Quinn in Washington, it sounds like Nagy’s second successful stint as a coordinator is making him a compelling target for a rival team.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Matt Nagy and Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith (previously head coach of the Atlanta Falcons) are “a couple names to watch” in the Tennessee Titans’ head coaching search.
