PARMA, Ohio -- Voters in Parma, Parma Heights and Seven Hills on Nov. 4 will decide Issue 49, which, if passed, would cost a $100,000 homeowner $20.13 a month.
Parma City Schools Superintendent Scott Hunt is spending the weeks leading up to the fall ballot talking district finances to community members.
“Anytime we or I have an opportunity to talk about the facts of our finances so people can hear and actually understand why we are in the position we’re in, that’s something that we should continue to do -- even if we weren’t going for a levy,” he said.
Hunt’s schedule includes the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Meet Our New Superintendent Luncheon” taking place at 11 a.m. Friday (Oct. 17) at Cox Communications, located at 12221 Plaza Drive in Parma.
Registration is required.
