Community leaders, rail riders rally in Philly to get necessary SEPTA funding for safety upgrades

SEPTA riders have been hit hard by recent delays and service cancellations as the transit agency works to inspect all 225 train cars in its Silverliner IV Fleet. The transit agency was given 30 days to inspect and update the entire fleet, but they're behind schedule.
