New York is one of the biggest exporters among all U.S. states, according to recent data from Stacker.

In July, the most recent month for which Stacker had data , New York had the third-highest export total in the nation at $7.6 billion worth of goods. Only Texas at $37.5 billion and California at $15.9 billion had higher numbers.

As a major exporter, President Donald Trump’s tariffs are a significant concern for New York. Gov. Kathy Hochul has spoken out against them and New York was among a group of 12 states that sued over the tariffs earlier this year .

Trump has imposed tariffs on a range of goods and individual nations since returning to office in January.
